Small Wedgwood Majolica Argenta Chrysanthemum plate

Victorian, circa 1890. 7.4ins high, 7.4ins wide, 1.1ins depth. Wedgwood Argenta Majolica plate which features chrysanthemum flowers to the interior.

Colouration: cream, light brown, pink, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1890.

 

Condition

CONDITION: Very good. No restoration. Some small flakes around the rim.

KILN EFFECTS: stilt marks to the front.
