Majolica Plate with Leaves on red basket ground

Victorian, circa 1880. 9ins high, 9ins wide, 1.1ins depth.

Majolica plate which features a sprig of leaves on basket weave ground.

Colouration: red, ochre, green, are predominant. Bears a pattern number, '17'.

Condition

Good. No restoration. Some small flakes to interior.

Slight wear to rim and interior.

KILN EFFECTS: 1cm shrinkage line to rim.
