
Victorian, circa 1870. 13ins high, 9.8ins wide, 5.5ins depth. Brownfield Majolica jug/pitcher which features a cockatoo perched on a branch.
Scarlet ground version. Colouration: scarlet, brown, green, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Brownfield pottery. Bears a pattern number, '2044'.
CONDITION: Generally good. RESTORATION. Handle and sections to rim reglued and joins retouched.
Filled chips to rim and end of branch on handle.
Retouched flakes to end of tail feathers.
