
Victorian, circa 1885. 9.1ins high, 9.1ins wide, 5.9ins depth. Minton Majolica oyster plate which features six shell shaped wells with seashell surrounds.
Turquoise ground version.
Colouration: turquoise, cream, green, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1323'.
Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1885.
CONDITION: Very good. No restoration.
Slight wear to the high points of the molding.
KILN EFFECTS: Mould lacks definition to the details.
