
Victorian, circa 1863. 4.5ins high, 4.3ins wide, 4.3ins depth. Minton Majolica salt which features three fish each supporting a shell with their tails. Colouration: cream, green, puce, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1016'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1863.
CONDITION: Very good. No restoration. KILN EFFECTS: a few specks of kiln grit caught in the glaze to the interior;
touch mark to the underside of one shell.
