
Victorian, circa 1875. 8.3ins high, 8.3ins wide, 8.3ins depth. Holdcroft Majolica jardinière which features a basket weave exterior with blossom and leaves.
Colouration: brown, green, turquoise, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Holdcroft pottery. Bears a pattern number, '10'.
CONDITION: Fair. Wear to the high points of the molding.
KILN EFFECTS: glaze run to the brown glaze;
small firing pits to the exterior.
RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched two cracks to body and cracks to base.
