Minton Majolica game pie dish which features a hare, mallard and blackbird on a bed of fern and oak leaves.
Colouration: brown, green, turquoise, are predominant.
Bears a pattern number, '10'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1857.
Dish: Good. No restoration. Small chip to underside edge.
Some small flakes to exterior, rim and one handle.
Very slight wear to interior.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage lines around the rim;
uneven glaze application to interior;
glaze run to the green and brown glazes.
