English Majolica Hazelnut Jug/Pitcher

Victorian, circa 1880. 7.5ins high, 5.9ins wide, 5.5ins depth. Unidentified English Majolica jug/pitcher which features hazel nuts and leaves. Colouration: brown, green, turquoise, are predominant.

Bears a pattern number, '2 28'.

Condition

Good. Small flake to base rim.

Wear to the high points of the molding and exterior.

RESTORATION: Stabilised and retouched crack to rim, still slightly visible.

Filled chip to base rim.

Retouching to flakes.
