Majolica Heron with Book Flower Vase

Victorian, circa 1890. 17.7ins high, 6.7ins wide, 6.7ins depth. Majolica vase which features a heron-like bird, carrying a book under it's wing.

Colouration: ochre, dark pink, grey, are predominant.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage line to the inside and back of stork's neck;

over glazed bruise to stork's chest.

RESTORATION. Two sections of beak reglued and joins retouched.
