Victorian, circa 1870. 11.8ins high, 15.7ins wide, 1.8ins depth. George Jones Majolica platter which features ferns and leaves with twig handles.

Colouration: green, brown, light brown, are predominant.

Bears a pattern number, '2271'.

CONDITION: Good.

Two tight hairline to the handles.

Wear to the high points of the molding.

KILN EFFECTS: a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the interior.

RESTORATION. Filled chip to rim.
