
Victorian, circa 1903. 7.2ins high, 6.9ins wide, 6.3ins depth. Minton Majolica serving dish which features a putti riding a cherub, with a shell resting on it's wings.
Colouration: cream, puce, blue, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1003'.
Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1903.
CONDITION: Good.
KILN EFFECTS: glaze run to the brown glaze;
faint, over glazed shrinkage line to the putti's right shoulder.
RESTORATION. Two sections to shell reglued and joins retouched.
