
Victorian, circa 1889. 4.7ins high, 6ins wide, 4.7ins depth. Wedgwood Majolica salt which features a dolphin holding a shell with it's tail.
Colouration: green, ochre, brown, are predominant.
Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1889.
CONDITION: Good. No cracks. No hairlines. No chips. KILN EFFECTS: some glaze run;
slight staining to shell interior.
RESTORATION. A small number of retouched flakes to rim and dolphin's face.
