Thomas Sergent French Palissy Majolica vase which features crustaceans, frogs, newts and shells.

Colouration: blue, green, cream, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Thomas Sergent pottery.

Condition

Good. Wear to the high points of the molding.

KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage lines along the molds join;

glaze run to the blue glaze.

RESTORATION. Head to one newt reglued and join retouched.

Filled chip to lower base edge.
