George Jones Majolica tea set, consisting of: a teapot, sugar bowl with cover, milk jug, two cups and saucers and a tray.
The design features apple blossom.
Turquoise ground version.
Colouration: turquoise, brown, green, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the George Jones pottery. Bears a pattern number, '3305 11'. English diamond registration mark for the date 29/04/1873.

Tray: Good. Small flake to rim.
RESTORATION. Stabilised hairline to handle.
Teapot: Pristine. No restoration.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage line around the base join to spout.
Sugar: Good. Bruise to underside rim of lid. Filled chip to rim.
Creamer: Generally good. KILN EFFECTS: Glaze pops to underside.
RESTORATION: Stabilized and retouched hairline to rim.
Retouched flake to rim.
Cup 1: Good. Very tight hairline to rim.
Flake to handle.
Cup 2: Is a new, made-up copy.
Saucers: Very good. No restoration.
