Victorian, circa 1870. 12ins high, 11.8ins wide, 11.8ins depth.

George Jones Majolica cheese keep which features apple blossoms.

Turquoise ground version.

Colouration: turquoise, brown, green, are predominant.

Bears a pattern number, '3241 5'.

Condition

Cover: Generally good.

Wear to the high points of the molding.

KILN EFFECTS: flecks of stray coloured glaze to the ground.

RESTORATION. Section of handle stabilised, reglued and joins retouched.

Three stabilised and retouched cracks to the rim, one running all the way from the rim to the handle.

Filled chip to rim.

Stand: Generally good. No restoration. Some wear and flakes to rims.

Some staining from use.

KILN EFFECTS: thin glaze application to interior ground.
