
Victorian, circa 1880. 7.9ins high, 6.3ins wide, 5.5ins depth. Unidentified English Majolica jug/pitcher which features sprigs of hazelnut buds and leaves. Colouration: brown, green, white, are predominant.
Bears a pattern number, '2 2 28'.
CONDITION: Generally good. Wear to the high points of the molding and exterior.
KILN EFFECTS: kiln soot caught in the glaze to the inner rim.
RESTORATION. Filled chips to rim.
Stabilised and retouched crack to rim, still slightly visible; retouched flakes.
