Loose mounted over a board with chipboard backing.

The sampler is worked in wool on canvas ground, in a variety of stitches.

Floral border.

Colours red, greens and blue.

Titled,

'Palestine the Time of Our Saviour'.

Little Walden is a village in the county of Essex, England.

Depicts a map of Palestine showing place names and the Mediterranean and Dead seas.

CONDITION: Generally Good. No holes.

Some staining to the Mediterranean Sea area of the map.

Some stitch losses to the border, title and to the map.

Colours are all good and strong with no noticeable fading.

Slight colour run around the green threads.

Neatly and evenly stretched.

Frame in good condition, ready to hang.
