Mounted to conservator standards on acid free card with chipboard backing.
The sampler is worked in silk on linen ground, in cross stitch throughout.
Meandering floral border.
Colours greens, cream, red, white, browns and black.
Verse reads
'Remember thy Creator God for him thy powers employ
Make him thy fear, thy love, thy hope, thy confidence and joy
He shall defend and guide thy youth through life's uncertain sea
Till thou art landed, on the coast of blest eternity'.
