Staffordshire flower basket russet & white spaniel

Victorian, circa 1860. 7.5ins high, 4.7ins wide, 3.5ins depth. Staffordshire figure which features a spaniel holding a flower basket in its mouth, seated directly on the ground, no base.





Russet and white version. Flatback, decorated mainly to the front.





Vent hole to the reverse.



Condition

CONDITION: Good. KILN EFFECTS: over glazed bruise to the reverse;



stain to the underside.



RESTORATION. Filled chip to between front paws.



Retouched paint losses to markings.
