Staffordshire Zebra & serpent figure (large size)

Victorian, circa 1860. 10.2ins high, 8.3ins wide, 2.8ins depth.

Staffordshire figure which features a zebra with a serpent entwined around its body, stood on a shaped base.



Dull gilt embellishment.

Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse. Vent hole to the reverse.

Condition

Good. No restoration. Tight hairline to left front ankle.



A few paint losses to the ground.







KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage lines to the base of both ears.
