Staffordshire Pearlware Plenty figure

pre-Victorian, circa 1820. 10.2ins high, 4.1ins wide, 3.5ins depth. Staffordshire pearlware figure which features a women holding a cornucopia full of fruit, stood on a square base. Painted base line.







Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.



Vent hole to the underside.

Condition

Good. Small bruise to upper base edge.



Some minor flaking.





KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage crack to side of base;



small firing pit to side of base.



RESTORATION: Filled chip to two base corners.
