Victorian, circa 1870. 4.3ins high, 4.4ins wide, 4.4ins depth. Staffordshire pearlware pastille burner which features a timber-framed cottage with a thatched roof and twin chimneys, stood on a shaped base.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Vent holes are present. Maker's marks painted to the underside.
Condition
Base: Good. Some small flakes to the ground and top rim.
Some paint losses to the ground and feet.
RESTORATION: Retouched paint losses.
Filled chip to one corner of cottage.
Cover: Good. Small chip to underside rim.
Some small flakes to the thatched roof and each chimney.
RESTORATION: Filled chips to one corner to roof, one chimney and to the dormer roofs.
