Pair Staffordshire bird on rocks figures

Victorian, circa 1860. Tallest is 12.8ins high, 5.9ins wide, 3ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire figures which feature birds, perched on a shaped base.



White and gilt version. Dull gilt embellishment. Decorated mainly to the front.







Vent hole to the reverse.

Condition

CONDITION: Right facing: Good.

Bruise to reverse.



Slight rubbing to gilt.





RESTORATION. Beak reglued and join retouched.





Retouched paint losses to ground.







Left facing: Good.

Slight rubbing to gilt.



Slight wear to the reverse.



KILN EFFECTS: staining to some areas of the crazing.



RESTORATION. Retouched paint losses to the beak,
