
Victorian, circa 1860. 13.5ins high, 8.5ins wide, 3.4ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery group with a occupational theme which features a couple selling oranges, stood on an oval base.
The piece is titled, 'ORANGE:SELLERS' .
Dull gilt titles and embellishment. Flatback, decorated only to the front. Vent hole to the reverse.

Starcrack to the reverse.
Small flake to woman's skirt hem
and man's cuff.
Some paint losses to man's eyes
and clothing.
Gilt almost entirely rubbed away.

KILN EFFECTS: touch mark to man's leg
and corner of his basket;
kiln soot caught in the glaze.
