
Victorian, circa 1860. 4.5ins high, 3.3ins wide, 3.3ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery pastille burner which features a tower house, resting on a shaped base.
Dull gilt base line and embellishment. Opening to the reverse.
CONDITION: Generally good. No restoration.
One hairline to the roof.
Slight rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage crack to the roof edge, with associated firing hairline;
kiln soot caught in the glaze to the base
and roof;
stained craze line to reverse.
