
Victorian, circa 1860. Tallest is 10.2ins high, 7.3ins wide, 5.1ins depth. Pair of Staffordshire Pottery figures which feature a Disraeli spaniel with blue eyes, seated directly on the ground, no base. Dull gilt embellishment.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse. Vent hole to the reverse.
CONDITION: Right facing: Good. No restoration. Minor paint losses to dog's tail and dog's muzzle.
Slight rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: thin glaze application to ears and tail.
Left facing: Good. No restoration. Tight hairline to dog's back.
Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: thin glaze application to black enamel;
firing hole to nose.
