
Victorian, circa 1860. 11.1ins high, 9.1ins wide, 6.5ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery figure which features a 'chunky' spaniel, seated directly on the ground, no base.
Jackfield black version. Dull gilt embellishment. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Vent hole to the underside.
CONDITION: Good. No restoration. Small flake to chain.
Gilt almost entirely rubbed away.
Slight wear to reverse.
KILN EFFECTS: kiln detritus caught in the glaze to tops of ears and front, left paw;
touch mark to locket.
