Staffordshire spill vase with a pastoral theme which features a saddled horse in front of a large sheaf of wheat, recumbent on a shaped base.
Decorated mainly to the front.
Good. No restoration. Minor paint loss to horse's ears.
Some wear to the rim.
KILN EFFECTS: flecks of stray coloured glaze to the spill and to reverse;
a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the spill.
