
Victorian, circa 1860. 9.6ins high, 9.6ins wide, 2.8ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery castle which features Balmoral, stood on an oblong base.
The piece is titled, 'BALMORAL CASTLE' .
Dull gilt title and embellishment. Flatback, decorated mainly to the front. This piece represents the Scottish estate house purchased by Queen Victoria in 1852.

CONDITION: Good. Small chip to end of shredded clay.
Gilt almost entirely rubbed away.
Wear and paint loss to orange balls and pathway.
KILN EFFECTS: craze lines to the reverse.
RESTORATION. Remodelled one orange ball.
