Staffordshire Pottery Spaniel - No.6 size

Victorian, circa 1860. 5.3ins high, 3.9ins wide, 2.6ins depth.

Staffordshire figure which features a spaniel, seated directly on the ground, no base.

Dull gilt collar and locket. Decorated mainly to the front.

Vent hole to the underside.

Maker's marks no.6 molded into the underside.

Condition

Good. Some rubbing to gilt.

Slight wear to muzzle.

KILN EFFECTS: flecks of stray coloured glaze to the reverse;

notable crazing.

RESTORATION. Retouched flake to left front paw.
