Minature Staffordshire Pottery poodle

Victorian, circa 1840. 2.4ins high, 2ins wide, 1.4ins depth. Staffordshire porcellaneous figure which features a poodle, stood on a rectangular base.

Dull gilt base line. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. No restoration.

Minor abrasions to poodle's nose.

Slight rubbing to gilt.

KILN EFFECTS: kiln soot caught in the glaze to the poodle and base.
