
Victorian, circa 1860. 6.1ins high, 6.3ins wide, 2.6ins depth. Staffordshire Pottery figure which features a fox with a bird in it's mouth, stood on an oblong base. Dull gilt base line and embellishment.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse.
Generally good. A few paint losses to fox and the trunk.
Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECT: touch mark to the front of the base.
RESTORATION: Both fox's ears remodelled.
Swan's head has filled chip.
Stabilised and retouched hairline to fox's front right leg.
