Pair Staffordshire russet & white spaniels

Pair of Staffordshire figures which feature a spaniel with a curly tail, seated directly on the ground, no base.

Russet and white version. Dull gilt collar and locket.

Decorated mainly to the front.

Vent holes to reverse and underside.

Condition

Right facing: Good. No restoration. Tight hairline to dog's chest.

Two small chips to front lower base edge, one of these is overglazed.

Left facing: Very good. No restoration. Some rubbing to gilt.

KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage line to the reverse next to tail;

minor kiln soot caught in the glaze to the front.
