
Victorian, circa 1880. 11.4ins high, 9.4ins wide, 2.6ins depth. Staffordshire spill vase with a hunting theme which features a hound pursuing a stag, stood on an oblong base. Multi-coloured version. Bright gilt base line and embellishment.
Flatback, decorated mainly to the front. Maker's marks painted to the underside.

CONDITION: Good. No restoration. Shallow chips to the lower base edge.
A few paint losses to stag and hound.
Some rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: two shrinkage cracks to the floral decoration and one to the underside of base;
a piece of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the front of the base;
touch mark to the dog's side.
