Staffordshire recumbent spaniel with pup figure

Victorian, circa 1860. 4.5ins high, 5.5ins wide, 2.8ins depth. Staffordshire figure which features a spaniel with pup,

recumbent on a shaped base.

Russet and white version. Dull gilt base line.

Decorated mainly to the front.

Condition

CONDITION: Good.

Slight rubbing to gilt.

KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage line to the reverse.

RESTORATION. Two filled chips to base front.

Two to the reverse.

Retouched paint losses to both faces and markings of dogs.
