Staffordshire pottery group of a couple & watermill
Victorian, circa 1860. 8.7ins high, 6.1ins wide, 2.4ins depth. Staffordshire group which features a water mill with a girl and boy seated on a bridge, resting on a rectangular base.
Dull gilt base line and embellishment. Flatback, decorated only to the front.
Vent hole to the underside.
Condition
CONDITION: Good. No restoration.
Small flake to the edge of the girl's skirt,
the boy's left hand
and hat.
Minor paint losses to the mill.
Slight rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: touch mark to the girl's nose.
