
Victorian, circa 1820. 5.5ins high, 3.9ins wide, 3ins depth. Walton Staffordshire pearlware bocage figure which features a cow and it's calf, stood on an oval base.
Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse. Vent hole to the reverse.
Maker's marks Walton molded ribbon.
CONDITION: Good. Some small flakes to bocage.
KILN EFFECTS: kiln grit caught in the glaze to the underside of base;
touch mark to the front of the base;
thin glaze application to the green bocage leaves.
RESTORATION. Cow's horns repainted.
One flower to bocage remodelled.
