
Victorian, circa 1860. 8.3ins high, 6.7ins wide, 3.5ins depth. Staffordshire spill vase which features a horse and foal, stood on an oblong base.
Flatback, decorated mainly to the front.

CONDITION: Generally good. Chip to underside on base edge.
Some small flakes to rim of spill.
KILN EFFECTS: kiln soot caught in the glaze to the front and reverse;
stained crazing mainly to reverse.
RESTORATION. Foal's nose reglued and join retouched.
Stabilised and retouched hairline to spill vase, just above horse's back.
Retouched paint losses to markings.
