
Victorian, circa 1850. 7.7ins high, 4.7ins wide, 4.3ins depth. Staffordshire porcellaneous pastille burner which features a twin storey cottage, stood on a rectangular base.
Dull gilt base line and embellishment. Decorated mainly to the front.
Maker's marks to the underside.
CONDITION: Generally good. Bruise to top roof.
Chips to flowers and leaves, and some missing.
Slight rubbing to gilt.
KILN EFFECTS: kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the base;
shrinkage crack to the front door;
tight shrinkage line to the front left pillar.
RESTORATION: Four top pillars reglued and join retouched.
Stabilised and retouched cracks to the windows of the top section.
