Pair Kent Staffordshire Napier & Garibaldi figures

Victorian, circa 1900. Tallest is 9.1ins high, 8.3ins wide, 4.1ins depth. Pair of Kent Staffordshire figures with a military theme which feature Napier/Garibaldi and their horse, stood on a shaped base. The pieces are titled, 'NAPIER' AND 'GARIBALDI' to the fronts. Bright gilt embellishment.

Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse. Vent hole to the reverse.

Condition

Napier: Good. Some paint losses to ground.

Some rubbing to gilt.

KILN EFFECT: craze line to Napier's forehead.

RESTORATION: horse's hind right leg reglued and join retouched;

retouched paint losses.

Garibaldi: Generally good. Some rubbing to gilt.

KILN EFFECT: a few craze lines.

RESTORATION: remodelled left hand and sword;

retouched paint losses.
