Mafra Majolica wall plate which features lizards, and snake and insects.
Colouration: green, brown, grey, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Mafra pottery.
Good. No restoration. Chip to shredded clay to rim.
Some small flakes to both lizard's jaws,
worm's head and to shredded ground.
KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage crack to the lizard's tail;
a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze.
