Large Minton Secessionist No.7 Jug & Wash Bowl

Circa 1910. Jug 14.5ins high, Bowl 16.5ins diameter. Minton Secessionist No.7 jug and wash bowl. Decorated in shades of blue with grey tube lined art nouveau motifs. Cream interior to both.

Maker's marks, including printed 'MINTONS LTD. No.7'.

Condition

Jug: Good. No restoration. Slight wear to handle.

KILN EFFECTS: a couple of shrinkage cracks to the foot rim, one with an associated flake;

some staining to interior and underside.

Bowl: Good. No restoration. Two very tight hairlines to rim.

Chip to foot rim.

Light scratches to interior from use.

KILN EFFECTS: slight kiln soot caught in the glaze to interior;

shrinkage line to the underside.
