Victorian, circa 1870. 7.9ins high, 7.9ins wide, 0.4ins depth. Minton Hollins & Co. Majolica tile which features two birds tending to a nest entwined with ivy.



White ground version. Colouration: white, green, ochre, are predominant.



The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton Hollins & Co. pottery.

Condition

CONDITION: Good. No restoration.

Small chips to the reverse,











small chip to one corner.



Small flake to ochre border.


KILN EFFECT: kiln soot caught in the glaze to the front.
