Small French Majolica Palissy snake plate

Victorian, circa 1870. 4ins high, 4ins wide, 1.3ins depth.

French Palissy Majolica wall plate which features a coiled snake, leaves, insects and another snake.



Colouration: blue, green, grey, are predominant.

Condition

Good. Small chip and flakes to foot rim.





Small flake to nose on snake.



RESTORATION. Filled chip to underside rim.
