
Early 20thC, circa 1920. 9.4ins high, 9.4ins wide, 1.1ins depth. Sarreguemines Majolica oyster plate which features six shell-shaped wells around a central well.
Colouration: light brown, blue, green, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Sarreguemines pottery.
CONDITION: Very good. No restoration.
Slight wear to the high points of the molding.
KILN EFFECT: a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the interior.
