
Victorian, circa 1882. 6.1ins high, 6.1ins wide, 0.8ins depth. Wedgwood Majolica plate which features flowering prunus branches. Cobalt blue ground version. Colouration: turquoise, ochre, dark pink, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Wedgwood pottery. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1882.
Good. No restoration. Tight hairline to rim only visible to underside.
Slight wear to front.
KILN EFFECTS: a few tiny specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the front;
staining to the front and reverse.
