Minton Majolica jug/pitcher, unusual shape

Victorian, circa 1870. 6.5ins high, 7.1ins wide, 7.1ins depth. Minton Majolica jug/pitcher which features floral and leaf decoration.

Colouration: cobalt blue, brown, green, are predominant.

Bears a pattern number, '409'.

Condition

CONDITION: Very good. No restoration.

KILN EFFECTS: glaze run to ochre, green and brown glazes;

glaze misses to the interior;

small firing pits to exterior;

over glazed bruise to the handle.
