George Jones Majolica Swan tile

Victorian, circa 1870. 8.3ins high, 8.1ins wide, 0.8ins depth. George Jones Majolica tile which features a swan on water. Colouration: cobalt blue, turquoise, ochre, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the George Jones pottery.

Condition

Good. No restoration. Small flake to rim and one to water.

Wear to the high points of the molding and edge.

KILN EFFECT: firing hole to swan's neck.
