
Victorian, circa 1900. 6.7ins high, 8.3ins wide, 13ins depth. Delphin Massier Majolica planter which features six birds (tits) perched on a bird bath.
Colouration: cream, green, brown, are predominant.
The piece bears maker's marks for the Delphin Massier pottery.
CONDITION: Good.
KILN EFFECTS: craze lines to the planter and birds;
kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the interior.
RESTORATION. One tail reglued and join retouched.
Retouched flakes to four beaks.
Three tails with filled chips.
