Early 20thC, circa 1920. 4.8ins high, 7.9ins wide, 7.9ins depth.

Sarreguemines Majolica preserve pot and cover which features cherries and leaves.

Colouration: puce, green, cream, are predominant.

The piece bears maker's marks for the Sarreguemines pottery. Bears a pattern number, '3271'.

Condition

Cover: Very good. No restoration. KILN EFFECTS: notable craze lines;

slight glaze run to the puce glaze.

Dish: Very good. No restoration. KILN EFFECTS: a few specks of kiln detritus caught in the glaze.
